            (  By   James Stevenson  )

                                SUMMARY  :

This proposal briefly describes the research and construction intended to bring about a machine capable of travelling by the interaction of it's parts with gravity. In short a Gravitational Propulsion Unit.
In the past I have successfully designed several different devices capable of travelling by the interaction of their parts with gravity and their surface with their environment. ( See attached NSF Project Summary, Gyroscopically Stabiliized Synchronized Split Mass Sphere designs, NSF review, Newspaper articles )
I now propose to construct a machine capable of travelling by the interaction of it's parts with gravity, regardless of it's surface and it's environment. Furthermore I intend to develope a system capable of controlling the direction of travel by said device.
The purpose of this machine will be a general all purpose propulsion device. It should be effective on land, water and in the air. Most importantly, unlike my earlier devices, this device should be an efficient form of propulsion in space.
